Cookie notice
Last updated October 27, 2026
What we use
The standard AlleyHQ application uses the cookies listed below. It does not load advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The notice is information about these cookies, not an “accept all” prompt or agreement to the Terms of Service.
LaneLogSession — sign-in and security
This essential, host-only cookie identifies a server-side session and protects account and form workflows. It does not contain your password or maintenance notes. A signed-in cookie lasts up to 24 hours; anonymous browsing uses a browser-session cookie whose server-side session expires after 15 minutes. Signing out clears the sign-in cookie. Server restarts, expiry or account/session revocation can end access sooner. Under configured HTTPS, it uses Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict protections.
AlleyHQCookieNotice — notice preference
When you choose Got it, this host-only preference cookie remembers the notice version you dismissed for up to 180 days. It stores only the notice version, not an account identifier. It is written only after that choice. A changed notice version, expiry or clearing cookies can show the notice again. The public site and dashboard keep their own host-specific cookies.
Your browser choices
You can remove cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential session cookie prevents sign-in and can prevent secure forms from working. The notice preference is optional. You can reopen the notice using the button below. Camera permissions, if used for barcode scanning, are separate browser permissions.
Changes and questions
If the application introduces analytics, advertising or other optional tracking, this notice and the controls must be updated before those features are enabled. Use Contact AlleyHQ for questions about these cookies.
